  1.  Generic Extended Commands

  4.   You should be familiar with the basic single-key commands.  Most of the commands
  5. can also take additional parameters.  There are two basic rules to remember:

  7.  (1) Begin multi-word commands with a period and end with CR.
  8.  
  9.   Examples:

  11.  To read all the messages in a room:
  12.      .<R>ead <F>orward
  13.  
  14.  To list the messages in reverse order:
  15.      .<R>ead <R>everse
  16.  
  17.  To go directly to the room ANYROOM>:
  18.      .<G>oto ANYROOM

  21.  (2) Typing a "?" anywhere will print the list of options available.

  39.    (P.S., you can substitute a SPACE, a comma, or a slash for the period
  40. on the general rule that you may occasionally miss the period when you throw
  41. your hand at the right side of the keyboard.)
